Accreditation means that an outside professional organization has reviewed our training development, execution, and support processes and ensured they meet their standards for quality and technical competence.
Now that Smart Buildings Academy is accredited, our courses are now eligible for Continuing Education Units (CEUs)!
Accreditation is important because it:
SBA is accredited through International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). IACET is used by most of the major OEMs for certifying their training and development programs.
We offer a payment option called SplitIt. It allows you to use your credit card to pay over time. If you would like to use this option, select SplitIt from the list of payment options during checkout (You should see this option after you click the "Continue to Payment" button).
Your receipt will automatically be sent to the email you used to purchase the course. It will be sent from Smart Buildings Academy with the subject "Order #xyz confirmed". You may have to check your spam if you're not seeing it in your inbox.
It may take up to 48 hours for your account to be created once you've purchased a course. If you are a manager/employer purchasing this course on behalf of someone else, you'll need to let us know and email us with the student's full name and email address.
Next, find the email sent by Smart Buildings Academy with the subject line, "Smart Buildings Academy: New user account"
Lastly, click on the link inside the email and you will be prompted to login in and reset your password for the course. Going forward your username will be your email address and your password will be whatever password you created.
